60th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (English Speech Competitions) – Announcement of Results

The 60th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival was closed on 18th December 2008 and below is a summary of the results of our participating students:

3rd Place (Solo Verse Speaking)
- 4C Kwong Ching Yan
- Teacher Trainer: Ms. Cheung Sze Wai

3rd Place (Choral Speaking)
- English Ambassadors (F3AB&4CD)
- Teacher Trainer: Mrs. Raji
- Assistant Teachers: Mr. Lam Pang Ling & Mr. Wu Kwok Leung
- Special thanks to Ms. Lee Yuen Fun and Ms. Lee Wai See for lending us the costumes

Merit: 37 students
Proficiency: 6 students
Absence: 1 student
Overall % of students getting a merit or above: 82% (Last year: 81%)

On behalf of the English Department, I would like to extend our appreciation to ALL participating students, parents and teacher trainers for your effort and support. I am sure our students have learnt a valuable lesson. Let’s keep up our good work and achieve an even better result next academic year.
